about the poem
The consequences of choices made in the name of freedom and the resistance to acknowledging misjudgment.

Voices Unheard

Dictatorship is wrong. Something everybody should know of.

But alas they don't. Entitled to their opinion thinking they're above

Some has their judgment clouded by fear or influence

And when asked why they support it, they'd always resort to violence.

"Respect my opinion" is their most used line.

You can truly never understand what goes in their mind

Despite the history we've had with such a government,

They will never admit to their misjudgment.
